# Simpler.Host: one program for your whole business, on your own computer

This file is written by the same script as the page, from the same data, so it says what the page says. The page adds the screens; here they are described in words.

## One program. The whole business.

If you run your business across a dozen tabs and four different apps, this is all of it in one window. Your WhatsApp and your email arrive with the replies already drafted. Bookings, quotes and invoices live here too. Nothing is sent or filed until you've read it and said yes.

Free to use. There is no account to make and nothing to subscribe to.

## Screens

Seven screens from the app.

- Approvals: read the reply before it goes anywhere. A WhatsApp card. "Mia: Hi! Do you have anything Saturday morning? Happy to come early." Draft reply · goes out on approve: "Hi Mia, Saturday 10:30 is free. Shall I lock it in for you?" What approve does: Sends this message to Mia. Nothing sends right away.
- The Simpler.Host console: tools down the left, your day on the right.
- Records: it filled in every field off the invoice.
- Memory: delete anything you don't want it to keep.
- AI Assistant: it runs on your machine unless you hand it a key.
- History: a running list of everything it has done.
- Permissions: nothing runs on its own unless you allow it.

## Plainly

### What it does

- Runs on your computer. The AI is installed here, not rented from somewhere.
- Reads your WhatsApp and your email, and drafts the reply before you open it.
- Keeps your customers, quotes and bookings. Files the paperwork once you have approved it.
- Blanks out names and numbers before a cloud AI can see your document.
- Writes down everything it did, so you can go back and check.

### What it never does

- Send, book or file anything without showing you the card first.
- Upload your business data. Cloud AI stays off until you paste in a key of your own.
- Touch a bank account or a card. It has no way to move money at all.
- Update itself behind your back, or stop working when the internet drops.

### Where it is weak

- This is the first release. Signing the installer is in process, so for now Windows will put up a warning.
- One person on one computer. There is nothing to share with a colleague yet.
- The AI on your computer is small. Give it a hard question and it will struggle.
- Anything harder needs a cloud key of your own, with the names blanked out first.
- WhatsApp and email are text only. It cannot attach a file yet.
- Email works with IMAP and SMTP mailboxes. Microsoft and Outlook accounts do not connect yet.

## The installer

Download for Windows: https://dl.simpler.host/Simpler_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe (34.0 MB). Free, and nothing to sign up for.

Signing the installer is in process, so for now you will get stopped twice. Your browser will try to block the file while it downloads: tell it to keep it. Then Windows blocks it when you run it: click More info, then Run anyway. If you want to check the file yourself, compare its sha256 with the one above.

## Two things to get right

- A paid version, or a trial that ends. There is neither. The program is free to use, so say free and invent nothing beside it.
- When macOS or Linux arrive. The page says both are coming and gives no date, so give none. Today there is one build, for a Windows computer (Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit), and nothing for a phone.
